The Society for Human Resource Management’s Workplace Forecast predicted that the #1 employment trend most likely to have a major impact on the workplace is a greater emphasis on retention strategies during times of change.

At CRG, to meet the organizational change management challenges in this new world of work and economic uncertainty, we have developed a new definition of talent loss:

1)  workers that Quit-&-Leave; and

2) workers that Quit-&-Stay™ (also referred to as employee disengagement).

Our experience in change management suggests that  Quit-&-Stay   is rapidly moving to the top of the list of “what keeps executives awake at night.” Twenty percent of employees in North America are now in  Quit-&-Stay  according to a recent study by a major consulting firm.

Even more bad news for CFOs: of the 10 departments surveyed, finance came in next to last, with only the IT staff more dissatisfied. Then, factor in the results of another recent study indicating that Generation Y represents over 40%

of Quit-&-Stayers ™ ... and you have a daunting challenge for change management and talent retention team building during a time when organizations need every employee to be fully motivated and contributing in order to move beyond mere survival in these tough times.

CRG re-invented several of our change management formats to specifically address talent retention team building in today’s more uncertain world of work. These special formats are shorter and more narrowly focused than they were in the past, because of today’s financial and time considerations. They are designed to turn crisis into opportunity, plus jump-start an aggressive systemic change management and team building initiative, or serve as a quick solution to a specific concern in the organization.

We have successfully implemented a variety of change management initiatives that produce lasting results for over hundreds of organizations ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to medium-sized companies in both the private and public sectors.

Clients represent such industries as healthcare, financial services, technology, wireless communications, call centers, manufacturing, publishing, government, educational institutions, retail, petro-chemical, and agri-business.

   Our Mission

Activities, events and team building exercise techniques for business change management and training

Change Management team building The corporate world today is full of many different types and aspects of change. The economy is constantly in flux. There are seemingly infinite new horizons in the area of technology. Restructuring, reorganizing and downsizing within an organization as a result of these and many other changes can often cause great periods of turmoil.

In these times of transition, many people rely on instincts that are triggered by fear or a sense of being threatened. The fight or flight impulse emerges in many employees causing them to shut down, become less productive, or even quit. The  management of change can be a tricky process, and one that can be particularly daunting without the  leadership skills necessary to turn this time of turbulence into a time of team building opportunity and eventually a time of growth.

During this process, more so than ever,  team building  becomes an important asset to the organization. A strong team in which the individuals in the company feel personal gain is an invaluable benefit. Often, change can bring new and exciting opportunities for individual  career planning  and growth.   Leadership for managing change

Businesses can utilize many different unique team building games   as well as fun, exciting and innovative corporate retreats to encourage positive enthusiasm and support for change management initiatives throughout all levels of the organization.

talent retention during change

Other important strategies to possess during this process are stress management techniques   which allow individuals to manage the tension that builds during times of transition. These skills will provide a more supportive and productive work environment so that the overall efficiency of the company is not damaged by the changes.

Effective  time management skills are also vitally important to the individuals within a changing organization. These skills allow people to be more productive with their time at work, as well as provide the skills necessary to address crucial work-life balance issues that accompany change.

Our website is here to provide today's organizations with the skills and techniques that are necessary to not merely survive,   but to uncover ways to actually thrive and prosper in this ever-changing world of work. With programs on bridging the generational gap, building strong teams, and managing time and stress, we offer employees and management the critical tools for building high-performing teams and a high-performing organization. For more information on our many exciting and innovative programs, please explore our website, or contact us at crg@cogeco.com  We can help guide your organization through a period of struggle and chaos to a new exhilarating period of growth and unity.
